  • About -Florida

Being intrepid travellers, Florida hasn’t typically been a place that we are inspired to go. But we have ended up going for the past 50 years to be with family over the holidays. And over time, it has totally grown on us. There are some really neat things to see around West Palm Beach – nature reserves, museums and cool restaurants. If you find yourself in this area, I have some great tips for you.

    PALM BEACH

    Favorites Places to Eat:

    Palm Beach

Palm Beach Grill (everyone loves the French dip; shrimp creole is out of this world)

-Honor Bar (beside Palm Beach Grill – same owners; don’t need reservation)

-Buccan (one of the most creative menus)

-Buccan has a sandwich bar that is open during the day that is beyond (favorites are beef carpaccio and tuna sandwiches; great hand-made chips); important: order online before you go (can go to Palm Beach or South Dixie location; nice to go to Four Arts Society and eat at table under the shade)

    West Palm Beach

-Johan’s Joe (best sandwich of my life: croissant with lox, cream cheese, cucumber, dill, capers – it sounds weird but is heavenly!!!)
