What to do:
-cool to walk on Blvd. St. Laurent (start just north of Sherbrooke)
-good shopping along Rue St. Catherine (east of Cote des Neiges, west of Rue Aylmer)
-great to also stroll around Old Montreal (on Rue St. Paul; visit Basilique Notre-Dame)
-visit Jean-Talon or Atwater Markets
-rent a Bixi bike and bike around the hipster area called Mile End (Rue Hutchinson to Ave. Henri-Julien, Ave. Mont Royal to Ave Van Horne)
-there are bongos in the park (they call it “Tam Tam”) on Mont Royal on Sundays (amazing scene)
-the lookout from Mont Royal has wonderful views of the city
-Montréal Museum of Fine Arts
-Biodome (a bit out of the way but good on a rainy day)
